About Me

I believe that every person carries an innate creative potential. When we allow ourselves to step into a space of play and imagination, new perspectives, unexpected solutions, and a deeper connection with ourselves naturally emerge. For many years, creativity, play, and drama have been at the heart of my work with children, young people, and adults.

Academic Background

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology from the Faculty of Arts and a Master’s degree in Arts Therapy from the Faculty of Education, both at the University of Ljubljana. I am a certified practitioner and trainer of Neuro-Dramatic Play (NDP), a mentor, director of children’s theatre groups, and the founder and director of the Mini Drama School.

I have always been fascinated by people—their stories, their relationships, how they experience the world, and how creativity can give voice to what words sometimes cannot. Theatre was my first love: my journey began in my early teens at the Barica Blenkuš Drama School and evolved through amateur theatre, improvisation, street theatre, and clowning. Today, I weave these experiences together with drama education and arts-based therapeutic approaches. I also write original plays, literary adaptations, and scripts and lyrics for songs and musicals, driven by the belief that stories hold a unique power to help us make sense of our lives and imagine new possibilities. I continuously deepen my practice through ongoing training in drama education, arts therapies, Authentic Movement, and improvisation. For me, acquiring new knowledge is simply a tool to create a safe, professional, and inspiring space for personal exploration.

My Approach

In my work, I do not look for polished performances or ‘right’ answers. Instead, I offer a grounded space where people can pause, breathe, explore, and express themselves in their own authentic way. While drama is my foundation, I integrate a wide spectrum of artistic media into my practice. Alongside theatre techniques, I draw on visual art, movement, rhythm, music, storytelling, symbolic play, metaphor, and creative improvisation. I adapt the medium to the individual or group, honoring the fact that everyone speaks their own unique language of expression. Play is not just for children—it is a fundamental human pathway for learning, connection, healing, and growth. When we give ourselves permission to create without fear of making mistakes, we begin to rediscover parts of ourselves that may have been waiting a long time to be seen. What brings me the greatest joy are the quiet breakthroughs: when a child feels safe enough to play again; when a young person discovers their voice and belonging; when an adult reconnects with their inner vitality; and when a group transforms into a space of trust and courage through a shared story. My mission is to cultivate these very spaces—where play, art, human connection, and genuine presence come together.
